When did your bab(ies) take their first steps without holding onto you or a walker?

  • I have 3 kids. 15, 9 and 12 months is when they took their 1st steps. All were within the range for that milestone.

  • Neither of my kids ever had a walker. DS took his first steps at 10 months and was walking within a few days. My youngest walked later.

  • Dd took her first real steps two weeks before her first birthday. For about a month prior to that she would occasionally take one step here and there, like to go between the table and the chair.
