Open office wont save my documents to be compatible with word anymore

whenever i try to save my stuff in open office it saves as some weird file that i cannot open on the computers on campus. my professor can't open the documents i submit to her online so I have to print it and take it to her. my printer here at home sucks and wont print and now I can't get it to save in the right format

UGH i'm so sick of open office.

  • When you save, click 'Save As' and it will have a dialogue box come up, asking what name and where you want to save it, etc. You should be able to choose the file type there. HTH
