  • I haven't had a period in over 4 years. My son is about 3 1/2 and my daughter is 13 months old. I keep saying that I wish my period would come back- but I am afraid that I will have 4 years of stocked up cramping, bleeding, etc. to work out. And my periods were AWFUL before I started having kids.
But I do kinda' miss it, and I am sick of taking pregnancy tests every couple months just to "make sure" I'm not pregnant.

  • Yes, your cycle changes after a baby. Some for the better, some for the worse.

  • yes it changed.
-before i had randomly had periods (hence why i didnt know i was prego for 3mo.
-right after i was on depo so no period at all.
-exactly on her 2nd bday & being off depo a month or 2 i started having periods again. regularly. she is 4.5 & my periods are starting to space themself apart again. *sigh*

since having dd periods are a piece of cake.. before they were extremelyyyyy PAINFUL

  • I used to have heavy, painful periods, with a 23 day cycle, 8 days bleeding.

Now, I have a 27 day cycle, and my periods are much less painful and 4 days bleeding.

The weird thing is, though, that I am mostly clots now . . . not so much liquid blood.

    OK, sorry, TMI, I know.
