If you have a teen.....what is your favorite thing right now about them?

My ds hardly ever laughs WITH me....and today for really no reason we laughed til we were crying. I guess I said something he found funny (idk what) but his laugh was so infectious.....I love and treasure moments like that.

  • ohmygosh, I love my son. I could talk and brag about him for days.
Right now I love the fact that he has a job, that is no longer under the table.
At 16 he got an apprentice position with the local utility, and with his first paycheck, he said " mom, I need a real bank account. I'm paying taxes now" He's always been a really good kid, easy to raise, just a real pleasure to be with.
I'll miss him terribly when he goes to college.

  • Oh, definitely their senses of humor. My daughter especially. She's miserably sick at the moment, but she's still finding the energy to crack jokes. That kid is so tough, and she could totally be a comedian someday. As for my son, I'm constantly impressed by his sense of responsibility. He definitely defies most of the teenage boy stereotypes!
