Has anyone had success with tubal reversal surgery?

I had a tubal ligation when I was 24 for reasons that seemed to make sense at the time. Now those reasons have no bearing on my life now that I'm 32. I would like to have another baby soon. Thoughts...

  • Not that I am aware of but I had one and never would go back on it. I am 31 and can't imagine having another child right now.

  • I read up on it a few years ago. I don't remember the precentage of success. BUT it does cost alot and I'm sure no insurance will cover this procedure. I'm now, 36 and I'm glad, I didn't go back and have it undone. My kids are now 10, 12 and 17 - couldn't imagion having a baby now or even a five year old. I'm looking forward to seeing my kids grown up, going to college, ect..

  • My Mom did. She already had 4 kids and thought she was done. Got them reversed and had 6 more kids :)

  • Bradi300 do you have the specifics on your mom's situation. What kind of tubal did she have? Where did she go to get them reversed? Cost?

  • I'm sorry I wish I knew. I remember she flew to Indiana to get it done with a Doctor Streater. I don't know the cost or anything about it and don't have a way of finding out. Good Luck!
