My doctor tells me that birth controls just 'may not be for me'? adult content

Ive been getting alot of stomach pain lately, nausea, mood changes, and have been having horrible flu like symptoms before my period, and its very very heavy.the symptoms last like 10 days and my period only four. >>

  • i asked my doctor that, i was on a different kind before and it gave me light periods but all the time. so that was a no. she said since i've been on two, it might not be for me. i'm not into condoms, hate them, and i dont know about the IUD

  • There are other pills and other methods of birth control .. . i am sure this a method or prescription that will suit you.

    VCF (vaginal contraceptive film)
    cervical cap
    NFP
    FAM
    paraguard (copper IUD)
    Mirena (plastic, with hormones, so may not be a good choice for you)

  • Anything hormonal, pills, mirena, nuva ring, patches, and norplant, I can't use. They make me crazy..

  • There are a lot of different kinds of pills. Only two kinds she tries & gives up on you about it? Wow. I tried SIX before I found one that worked out for me.

  • I tell the truth & get voted down. That's lovely. FACT: there ARE many kinds of pills..different dosages, different hormone combos. FACT: I personally did try six kinds before I found one that agreed with me. HOW IN THE HELL IS THAT A VOTE DOWN?
