  • I always feel terrible. I don't cry though. I just snuggle up with him and give him plenty of extra lovin that day. I always get him a little gift as well- nothing to expensive.

  • i'm thinking the crying could have to do with pregnancy hormones but we just had a long cuddle and a good teary cry

  • I will admit after I had my kids I would tear up. I hate seeing my kids cry especially when it comes to shots

  • As bad as it makes me feel, I know that I'd rather put them through immunization day rather than catching a disease that would be MUCH worse for them to deal with.

  • i did all the time now i'm just happy it's every 2 years but it's going to start all over again in a few months so i should brace myself again

  • I cried the first time, and I still get emotional, but I know it's short term pain for the long term good. It's no fun letting someone hurt your baby, though! Hugs, mama!

  • Yes, it's emotional, but you're doing something that only hurts a little now to prevent it from hurting a LOT later. Turn away when they give the shots if it's hard to watch, then hold and soothe your baby. A little juice or ice cream never hurt either... (((HUGS!)))

  • i get a little hurt when i see the shot go in but other than that i know it's whats good for them and minutes later they won't remember

  • My 6-month-old just got her shots on Monday, too. I never enjoy it. I cuddle with her and then sing songs to her as we make our way home.

  • I hate when they have to get shots!! I used to make their dad stay in with them while i waited outside for them because I just couldn't handle seeing their happy little faces fall. :-(
