  • Wake her up in the morning when you get up. If you are a sahm, then have some quiet time when you would like her to take her nap. Lay on the couch with her, watch a movie... She might even fall asleep. If not, then let her play after an hour and a half or so of being quiet. After dinner make sure your playing with her, or keeping her entertained, otherwise she will go down. She will most likely get cranky if she didn't nap during quiet time, but let her throw her fit. Once her bed time comes around, it should be no problem getting her down. Keep doing this until her schedule is back to normal. I had to do this with my dd. She wanted to sleep until 11 am and go to sleep at 1 am... After about a week of doing that, she is on a normal schedule. Good luck!!!

  • Agree with bbybugs. Get her up early and have her take an earlier nap. My 4 year old has done that many times and we just stick to the schedule of getting up early so she knows to go to bed early and take a nap earlier.

  • yep...wake her up..she will be a grump. Let her get a LOT of fresh air, then drive around with her, nurse her, give her a bottle, whatever helps her sleep in the early afternoon...just start moving the time so she can adjust to a new schedule. Give her an early bath and make sure she has a full tummy...it will take a few days, but just keep it very routine and it will fall back into place.

  • don't let her take naps so late... i would keep her up till atleast 8 and she may sleep the rest of the night... and if she wants to take a nap and only does one a day don't let her take one past 3pm in the long run it will work.. i do that with my son now who is 2 and have been doing it for a long while now... but at 11 months he never took naps that late either.
