Question about Icecream

This past weekend , We had my sons 11th birthday party and we did "make your own sundae" icecream bar.
I have tons of icecream left.
I also had a ton of toppings left.
I mixed all the topping together in a large container.
(crunched up oreos,choc chip cookies,chocolate morsels,peanuts,butterfingers,marshmallows)

SO..what I'm wondering is...if I were to let the icecream soften up a bit and mix all the left over toppings in the icecream and put it back in the freezer...will this turn out good or not so good?

  • Use the toppings in cookies,and use the ice cream for smoothies,just add fruit to it and yum.

  • I did this once, and the ice cream was okay tasting, but it was ''gritty'' ..... i wouldn't recommend doing it.

  • I wouldn't Ice cream never taste the same after it softens up and then re-freezes.

  • I think icecream is amazing! So I dunno if you'd ruin some by mixing :s but it's practical if you've no room!
