22 Bumps

BUMP if you agree that "The only thing worth stealing is a kiss from a sleeping child."

The quote is credited to Joe Houldsworth and I saw it listed on a random blog (Our little Angels' Journey) on blogspot.

  • Although stealing a kiss from your sleeping child is indeed precious, stealing a glimpse of my SO in the shower while I brush my teeth is also well worth it. ;->

  • It doesn't even matter that mine are "grown". (18 and 21) I still pause for a moment to watch my son sleep when I go in to wake him up. I only get to see my daughter sleeping if she's ill and recouping on the sofa. I miss those moments now... they are getting fewer and farther in between. I don't steal kisses anymore... that might be a little creepy.

  • I'll bump but I also believe that you should steal those precious moments when they are peaceful in slumber. It melts my heart to watch mine sleep as it's something that I will only be able to see in what seems like brief seconds of a lifetime

  • @knappkin - I am SO with you! Mine 4 are 34, 32 & 18 yo twins. My 32yr old lives 1200 miiles away. But, when 34yo DD & her family stay over, I still get a swollen heart. I, too, take just a moment before waking up my 18 yr old twin boys for school. They graduate next month. So, I will take all that I can get. :-)
