Any ideas on what to come up with on my kids talent show?

Thanks ladies!
Not sure if they know what their getting themselves into but this is what they want to do.
What can I do to help, they really don't have any talent but are still willing to go through it.
I just don't want them to make fools of themselves, but hey I'll back them up if they want to do it go for it.

  • Okay, you may think this is corny, but....
They could dress up in '50's clothes and sing and dance to the song "We go Together" from the movie Grease (it was the last song in the movie). I think it is a cute, upbeat song and the lyrics are appropriate for kids. I think it would be cute. :-)

  • I just attended my son's middle school variety show. He played his trumpet in 4 different things, but here are other ideas from the show. If they know friends who play instruments they could ask them to participate...
Lip sync or sing to a pop/rap song in costume, and appropriate, of course.
Dance to some lyrical or tap music.
Do a comedy skit...theirs was on "Axe" the cologne that is so overused at their school and was hilarious.
Tumbling or martial arts to music.
At least 3 Taylor Swift songs were sung, quite well, too.
Get a band together...guitar, drums, piano, base.
    Not in theirs, but:
    Silly weather report or broadcast.
    Poetry reading.

  • My son's school just had a talent show and he did a comedy act and it was great...Other kids sang, danced, and played instruments...I would have liked to see a little bit more of a variety though...My son was the only one who did a comedy I would have loved to see martial arts, acting or magic...
