  • I have seen this question so many times and for some reason it never gets old. I grew up in the South and everything was a coke and then you specified which one. Coke even meant Pepsi. It drives my husband insane. He grew up in the midwest and calls is Soda or Pop.

  • I'm in Ga, and coke means EVERYTHING. lol I also say 'soda'. DH used to live in Montana, and said that it drove him nuts that everybody called it 'pop', so I do it sometimes just to aggravate :)

  • I live in NM. When I was growing up, I used to call it pop. Now, I say soda and that is what I usually hear others call it. When we order it in restaurants, we say the name of the soda.
