Do you put your banana & potatoes in the fridge?

I have lately due to those annoying gnats...now I only see one once in awhile but damn they are so annoying.

  • Nope. My DH found these awesome produce bags I think they're pink that keeps them fresh and they don't turn brown for at least 2 weeks

  • I keep my potatoes in the fridge, but I, like you, can't stand cold bananas...so they are on their own battling the gnats! LOL

  • Bananas & potatoes don't last long enough around our house to have the gnat probs. My Nana used to keep bananas in the fridge, though. I didn't like how it turned the banana peels brown so fast. I don't know anyone who keeps their potatoes in the fridge. Not saying it's wrong. I just don't know anyone.

  • NO, we don't but yeah..if I had a gnat issue..I probably would do that too. Try pouring some bleach down your drains..I've found that that helps control the gnats..I think they live and breed in the drains.
