Does your 2 yr old express her feeling to you?

We have a 2 year old who expresses herself alot and what shes feeling. My husband and I are wondering if thats normal, because we nerver met a child who expreses themselves the way she does. She always says when she is mad, happy or sad, and give a reason why she is feeling the way she does.

  • That is wonderful! My DD doesn't quite do that, but she recognizes the feelings on me. She'll say, oh no, mamy's tired. or mami's sad. she doesn't point out when I'm angry, she just hugs me.

  • Not yet. Mine's not quite 2. He expresses his feelings by his actions like all infants, but he doesn't actually say "I'm happy" and such.
