Fixing slips.

Any one know how to sew up the slips in skirts. Without making it too tight.

  • Do you mean the slits in skirts? If so, and you know how to sew, you can open the seam and stitch on your machine. You can also get the sides of the slit close and take small stitches to sew them together. If you have a good matching color thread and use small stitches it will not be too noticeable. To get an idea if the skirt will be too tight use some safety pins to close the slit and then put on the skirt. If you can not freely move around and sit you do not want to close them.  Most are put there exactly for that give you some freedom of movement.
