Is orange juice an acceptable drink for a 17 month old?

I never buy orange juice because I don't drink it much, I'm not sure if it would cause heartburn or be too acidic for my kid?

  • I think they make low acid Orange juice, you can try it and see how he reacts to it.

  • My son loves the minute maid for kid, but I only let him have 1 glass a day, he has drank it from about your kiddos age, I think it is fine, but too much could lead to upset tummy!

  • My kids were fine with it in small quantities. If you give him too much it will likely cause a rash on his butt from the acid.

  • I watered it down at that age and up until my son was 3.

  • i wouldn't introduce it, if it isn't already something in the house. juice has a lot of sugar and no fiber. it is much healthier to eat an orange.
