  • my 6 month old son is napping 3 times a day--which sounds like a lot, but he's a cat-napper! he usually zonks out mid-morning (between 9 and 10 am), then again around 11 or 12, and then sometimes again in the late afternoon, around 3 or 4 pm. Often his naps are 30-40 minute quickies, though. Staying down for a full hour or more is fairly unusual for him. But he seems to be happy and active when he's awake, so I guess he's getting the rest he needs and that's just his rhythm.

  • Mine naps twice a day 1-2 hours each. I've found that if she wakes before sleeping a full hour she is NOT ready to get up. She's not rested and very cranky if she doesn't sleep for at least an hour. She goes to sleep for the night between 7:30-8 and wakes up sometime between 7:30-9am.
