  • I always get the shaft. Birthdays, anniversaries, holidays. They're more important to me than they are to Dh, and he usually forgets.

  • i would be very hurt and mad! Luckily that hasn't happened yet- but now I share my birthday with my daughter so it's not just about me anymore, but hubby better make sure to take care of both of us,that is if he knows whats good for him.... lol

  • DH rarely does anything for my birthday. Not even for my 30th birthday. I always make him a cake and get him a gift, but if birthdays don't mean anything to him then I guess I should stop. LOL

  • I'm always hurt that he forgets my birthday but when his comes around he expects some sort of hoopla/celebration and it just irritates me that he is so focused on his day but mine it's just it is just another day....but I have kids who love me and will make me feel important :)

  • Like crap. Then I would be really really mad that he could have been so inconsiderate! But, I dont have that problem. I have the opposite issue. My dh goes wayyyyyyyy overboard for my b-days.

  • I would actually prefer it if he forgot, as I'm over 40 and don't care to be reminded of that fact.
