When did you retire your heels?

I am 31 weeks pregnant and I've been going to church and wearing my heels and the dresses that I can still fit lol (empire waists are my new best friend lol) but about 4 weeks ago I had to finally retire my heels....not only are my feet too swollen to fit into most of center of gravity is WAY off lol and I just don't feel safe in them anymore lol

When did you retire your heels?

  • With my first pregnancy I tried wearing them pretty far in...nothing huge, and it was a fat heel...but then I tripped on a tiny little pebble and went down hard on my knee and elbow (to avoid hitting my tummy) and I have severe knee issues now.
With my second pregnancy, I stopped wearing them the minute I found out I was pregnant, lol.

  • I think the last time I wore mine was 26 weeks or at 35 my feet swell when I stand up in my chaco sandals lol

  • I retired the heels when I could no longer see my feet lol. I am clumsy, so they had to go

  • I'm 5'7" so I've never worn heels. I'm 34 weeks pregnant now and love my tennis shoes and flip flops even more!

  • When my feet got too fat for my shoes... I think around 25ish weeks.

  • I quit wearing mine at like 10 weeks. My ob said that they were really bad on your spine, as pregnancy puts the ligaments out of whack anyway. Adding heals was a disaster waiting to happen.

  • I wore them up to my baby shower in which I was 34 weeks I believe

  • I lived in sneakers and flip flops from about ten weeks on because I had random dizzy spells.
