AT what age would you let your dd play with barbies?

  • I bought my daughter her first barbie for Christmas and her grandma bought her a Liv doll and a Brats doll and she is 3. She doesn't really play with them though. Her brothers toys are louder and make more interesting noises so she only wants to play with those.

  • DD is 3 and plays with them at her grandparents and friends houses. We have not gotten her any yet for our house.

  • My DD is 4 and still doesn't want to play with them. She has friends the same age that do though. I would allow her now if she wanted.

  • My dd is almost 6 and she has always played with barbies. She loves barbies she rather play with barbies than baby dolls. My now 3 year old also plays with them. Whats the big deal?

  • My dd is 4, and I just bought her first one, a ballerina one. She absolutely loves it and is in AWE!!

  • I will never buy them for her. She may play with them at another house, but they will not be allowed in ours.

  • As soon as she wants. I was so excited for Barbie I bought my daughter one when she was an infant! She really liked them when she was around 4.

  • We don't do Barbie at our house, they can play with them at a friend's house whenever, but we don't ever buy them for our girls.

  • No big deal really. but I have a 2 year old, also. And they have small parts and she puts everything in her mouth. But I finally bought them barbies today and they loved the.
