  • This year, nothing. Our boys will be visiting their biodad, so it will be just me at home. Hubby will be out of state. I'm not looking forward to it.

  • Well it depends if he has to work or not. If not then she will wake up to find her basket. Then the egg hunt. After the hunt usually I give her a new gift for the spring she can play with. every year but the last two she has gotten dollar store outdoor toys.Last year it was fishing stuff so her dad took her fishing while I made dinner. This year we're doing it different I think we're getting her bike this weekend and giving it to her early so she can ride it next weeks during spring break.
I make dinner while SO and dd spend time together but this year I'm going to need their help since I just had surgery.

  • we go to our church's Easter carnival & egg hunt Saturday (which i'll probably skip out on seeing as i'll have a less than a week old baby). then Sunday we have a toy Easter basket in the morning, go to church in our spring clothes (i may skip this too), then we eat a big ham lunch at my moms where everyone (adults too) gets a candy basket. then we sleep off our food/sugar comas or just talk.

this year should be extra fun since we'll have a brand newborn boy & my MIL (who is wonderful!) will be joining us...she lives about 12 hours away so anytime we get to see her is great.
