Vaccine Awareness

Do you think people have the right to at least get proper educating before making a major decision?

Allow CBS to assist in giving the proper education about vaccines. Pro-vaccinating families are voting against the right to know proper information before the decision of vaccinating. (can we say ignorance?) No one is telling you whether or not to do it, just to not decide or do it blindly. Our families and children are worth that.

  • No, as someone who works to make sure people receive that information I'll be the first to tell you that most do not have it. And the vast majority of them don't know they don't have it. We live in a world where we are taught from the time we are children to take our parents/doctors/teachers/governments word for what is truth or right... And unfortunately there are many doctors out there who don't have the information themselves - so how can they properly lead their clients?

  • but they do have the right to know and they're trying to take this away. there are ads everywhere about how you should vaccinate but they are fighting for them to not allow them to know facts about it and post those up. Hmmm...can we say money?? That's what the vaccine companies are making!

  • Honey, you're talking to someone who works to educate people on vaccines... I do promotion and advertizement for WAVE and DrTenpenny both locally and online. I completely agree with you. Unfortunately there are simply to many people out there who continue to buy in to the idea that doctors and drug companies always want what is best for their clients... Which we both know isn't true.

  • I think it's bull that someone would want to take that right away from us.

  • Some are just too lazy to research it themselves and think that because the doctor said so, then it must be true.

  • Everyone should be educated on vaccines they can cause some serious side effects rare though.

  • Do they also give info about the effects of the diseases that are making a recurrence since so many people do not vaccinate?

Answer by elasmimi at 9:52 AM on Apr. 17, 2011

  • not as rare as you'd think. my son suffered from serious side effects from his first shots. it was horrible. also, elasmimi you're obviously one of those people who don't do any research about the vaccinations or you wouldn't make such an ignorant comment. we have to thank our better living conditions to why a lot of diseases are no longer around. and the reason why many of the diseases do exist is because those who get vaccinate it pass it around.
