My hanging flowers got hit by a rainstorm. How do I get them to perk back up? They look sad and droopy :(

It's been like this for about 4 days now.

  • I hope they do perk up!! They're not drenched in a lot of water so they rot are they? Too much water and they can rot. Are any broken,? Its doubtful if they're broken they'll perk up.Depending on the plants if they sprout from the root. I wish you the best of Luck! I wish we had weather for hanging baskets! We have Rain & Sleet and heavy winds right now! And snow Coming! Best of Luck in them recovering! Sending my care!

  • They will perk back up by tomorrow. obviously they have plenty of water so just leave them alone and they'll come back.

  • I'd leave them be for another day or so. I'm sure they'll perk up.

  • They are in a hanging basket hanging from the roof of my porch. It has a hole in the bottom for draining. I don't think any of them are broken, just wilted over the side. Thank you all for the reassurance.

  • Usually they iwll perk up as long as there is drainage for the water to get otu.

  • I brought them inside, monitored the water, kept them under a light and repositioned the flowers. They perked back up and are outside again. Thank you for your input and help.
