I think before I had my youngest, I would think you are being a braggert, but since I've had my little man, I totally understand. I can't go anywhere without someone coming over to us and talking to him.

  • I think it is a little of both.

Answer by ashisamom at 7:20 PM on Apr. 15, 2011

  • I agree a little of both. Like any other trait you are either born with or your not but you can always learn. Like My DH can draw with no effort. He just can. I on the other hand would need some classes but I bet I could learn it to!

  • I think it can be both. Some are definitely born that way, for sure!

  • Dd was born a super charismatic charmer... She is unbelievable! I think some kids are born with it, but can lose it (or gain it) through being discouraged or encouraged throughout their young lives.

Answer by bloomsr at 7:32 PM on Apr. 15, 2011

  • Definitely born. I'm no where near charismatic, but DD is. People just gravitate toward her and always have. She's 5 now and even the "big kids" want to hang out with on the bus and at dance class...and I am always so surprised with how adults react to her. She's definitely got "something!"

Answer by AllAboutKeeley at 8:05 PM on Apr. 15, 2011

  • Born. My DD is the same way. Its like being out with a celebrity. EVERYONE comes over to talk to her, sing with her, dance with her.. Men, women and other kids. When we are in a restaurant, people are actually coming and sitting right next to us, so they can hear her and see her.. There is never a quiet moment.. Elevator, walking down the street... And she has been that way from day one too.
