Tmi, i know, but...

I am having some really thick mucussy discharge, and it had a bit of blood in it. I typically have a lot of discharge, but it's been really thick this whole last couple weeks.

anyone have this? is it normal?

  • Sounds to me like ovulation. When it gets thick it's when you are most fertile. Sometimes there can be a little blood associated with ovulating as well. Totally normal.

  • Id probably have it checked out just to make sure there is no infection or anything but it may just be discharge.

  • I would have it checked just to make sure. I know mine got thicker after I had kids, but if it's out of the blue, then best to get checked!

  • I just talked to the advice nurse for the gyno's office. She said It was probably ovulation because I am weaning my son rom breastfeeding, after a year and a half, so my body and cylce should be regulating now.

  • I agree that it sounds like ovulation. If it really worries you, I'd make an appointment with your OBGYN.
