Does Anyone's kids have absence seizures?

my daughters eyes constantly roll up and her eyelashes flutter.

  • My son has had what we think we absence seizures on a couple of occasions. They're really nothing to worry about - happens to a LOT of kids, and they grow out of it. Theres not much you can do about it.

  • my mom said when i was younger i had petite mal seizures idk if thats the same thing but she said i would stare off into space alot

  • My friend's dd does, and her eyes have never rolled up & fluttered. Sounds like something else, really. An abcense seizure is the brain going to sleep for a couple of seconds - just a little pause for a few seconds.

  • yes and it is something to worrie about my brother died from one as he had a blood vessel burst in his brain. you need to see a nourlogist. My daughter also has them
