What to do on a rainy Saturday with a 2yo & a 1yo?

It's always the same ole' day, but I need to make today different. The 2yo is always bored, and acting out because of it. It's going to rain the whole day, so going out isn't an option =[

  • Pop popcorn and watch a movie..............or do a craft project. Finger painting is always fun. Or make playdough out of flour and fun creating.

  • Set up a play shopping center, and pretend to go on a shopping trip with canned goods and a few unopened boxes of cereal, rice, whatever.

Or, set up a tent in the livingroom, and pretend to camp out while watching tv.

Or, haul out some paints, and lots of paper, and let them paint to their heart's content.

  • we are going to our play area at our mall and letting the boys run around. I have a 6yr old, 4 1/2yr old, 3 yr old and 11 month old so i need to keep them busy today too. It is raining here also. Later we will come home and play in our playroom then have quiet time where they read books or do puzzels.
