Do you licence your pets even if in house only ?

my state goes door to door and asks if your pet is licensed , and if you have any

  • Yes. Every animal must be registered, and their license and immunizations must be kept current. You risk a fine, otherwise, or other prosecution.

  • We do. if they ever get out you have to pay a huge fine to get your dog back. This happened to a co-worker who had his house robbed and they let his dogs out.

  • In our state (OH), it's only law that you license dogs, so that is what we do.

  • Yes. We have always had "indoor pets". It is really essential. ANd the rabies certificate has to be current.

  • we get them their rabies shot but past that the vet knows we are here and I can get the card to them at the door. My cats are indoor only!

  • U need to get them licensed and their shots every year! it is for their safety,if they should get out,so they don't contract any illnesses that could kill them!!! Even rabies which could spread to humans!!!!
