Is spotting considered day one of cycle? Or does there have to be "fresh" blood?
Just wondering if the first day of spotting is consider Day 1 of your cycle or should you wait until the fresh blood comes to begin counting? I always spot for 2-3 days before TOM (TimeOfMonth) shows up for good. I don't know which day would be correct?

My doc told me the 1st day is when you have a good flow, not spotting.
