  • They're just like you if you go to work...sometimes you can be moody too.
    Bad day? Tired? Children being children? Numerous things.

    Have you ask them why they're moody? Maybe they're close to puberty? Heck, I have no idea, just throwing some things out there.

  • Long day of learning & listening. It can be similar to a long day at work - ya just want to get home & unwind. Can't do much about it but talk to them & make the comfortable.

  • Not getting enough sleep the night before, lacking some specific nutrients/vitamins, dealing with bullies, too much homework, boring teachers - I think there is a long list of reasons.

  • I agree with them being hungry and tired. My kids were always starving when they got home.

  • I can remember being like that a LOT when I was in school in the early years- I think part of it is over-stimulation, part hunger, and part tiredness.
