How long after stoping preterm labor meds did it take for you to go into labor?

  • 4 days with my second child. Not sure with this one I have 3 wks or so to take these meds before it is safe to deliver.

  • Good question! I hope someone answers cause I might have to take some myself. My last child was born at 32 weeks. So let's see what the doc does.

  • My cousin stopped Procardia at 34 weeks and her daughter was born at 37w6d.

  • I am supposed to stop it at 36 weeks, im hoping she will wait at least a week after that.....justme782 the procardia has worked good for me i still have contractions sometimes but no more dilation. the brethine was TERRIBLE for me though. GL!
