Anyone have constipation with there pregnancy?

  • Ding! Right here. From day one. I changed my diet and it helped, though. High fiber cereals, less junk, cut out pop almost completely (I still steal sips from my DF when he has one, but I never have a whole one to myself), and LOTS of veggies.

  • i am always constipated!! i am 24 weeks and i have dealt with this my whole pregnancy, i drink a glass of warm water in the morning and that generally helps

  • I have battled constipation this entire pregnancy. I am 34 wk. What I have done:

    Bought high fiber cereal and eat a bowl everyday
    Eat fresh fruites like plums, strawberrys, etc.
    Eat fresh veggies (warning they make you gassy)
    I tried prune juice and I don't like the taste.

    If I do one of these everyday I seem to keep the constipation at bay.

  • Too much iron can also cause constipation. You do not have to take prenatals if you eat a well-balanced diet.
