Morning sickness........

so anyone know any good morning sickness cures with my first i just had to avoid chicken but now everything sets me off so anything i should do to keep the little gremlins of sickness at bay or am i doomed lol

  • Crackers & Ginger Ale or if u don't like ginger ale try sprite....peppermints can keep u settled. Good Luck

  • I used crackers and Gatorade. Peppermints can keep you settled, but they can also cause massive heartburn. I had a serious heartburn problem in both of my pregnancies, so if you have been prone to heartburn, or suddenly get heartburn and are using the peppermints, stop taking them.

    A friend of mine swore by Seaband (a device worn on your wrist to stop motionsickness) during her pregnancy. It didn't work for me, but it might be worth a shot.

  • I used those sea bands from walmart. The only times I took them off were to was them or when I took a shower,lol. Also I bought preggy pops you can get those at motherhood maternity, and lemons lots and lots of lemons.

  • Ginger! Ginger ale, ginger snaps, or see if it's okay to take ginger supplements. I suffer from chronic motion sickness issues. Ginger's about the only thing that kills my queasies.

  • ginger lemon tea..worked wonders for me..anything ginger will settle your stomach..crackers didnt work for me..7up was ok, to keep fluids in me as much as possible..i had morning sickness really bad with this 14 weeks and the sickness is completly gone..thank goodness, hopefully it dosnt last longer than that for you!! gL
