What are some healthly meals I can make for me and my 1yr old?

I have to follow these rules ......

Breakfast: fruit, grain, dairy
Snack : fruit OR vegetable and dairy OR grain
Lunch: meat (or protein substitute), dairy, fruit, vegetable, grain
Snack : fruit OR vegetable and dairy OR grain
Dinner : meat (or protein substitute), dairy, fruit, vegetable, grain
Snack : fruit OR vegetable and dairy OR grain

  • A good concept to keep in mind a Rainbow plate.  Look at this website it has some good recipes.

  • Breakfast: 1) Yogurt, berries, toast, 2) Oatmeal made with milk and fruit, 3) Whole grain waffle , milk and applesauce, 4) cereal with berries
    Snack: carrot sticks with yogurt dip, apple slices with yogurt dip, toast with fruit spread,
    Lunch: Chicken noodle soup w/ carrots, a glass of milk, sliced peaches 2) Grilled ham and cheese sand. with orange slices
    Snack: see above
    Dinner: chicken w/ brown rice & mixed veggies, berries with yogurt for dessert 2) spagetti w/meat sauce, whole grain noodles, cheese to top, melon for dessert

    Really the possibilities are endless. Hope this helps.

  • Breakfast- yogurt with fruit and granola
    Snack-sliced apples and yogurt
    Lunch- chciken wrap (with lettuce and tomato) strawberries milk
    Snack- toast with fruit
    Dinner- chicken/eggplant parm with whole grain pasta (most pasta sauces advertise a full serving of veggies in every cup) fruit salad and mil
    Snack- yogurt or cottage cheese with fresh fruit

  • Breakfast--Malt-O-Meal or Oatmeal; fruit; Milk; or Waffles; milk and fruit or applesauce
    Snack--carrot or celery sticks; apple slices; orange; grapes
    Lunch--Chicken Soup with carrots or d=celery sticks; milk; fruit
    Snack--carrot or celery sticks; apple slices; half an orange
    Dinner--Baked Chicken Breast with baked potato or rice; vegetable of sort; fruit and milk
    Snack--fresh fruit; cottage cheese

    I am on a 1600 calorie diet(I am diabetic) and have to count everything I eat so if you want more suggestions email me and I will give you more
