Would you be comfortable

Saw an old question in a groip which made me think of this. Would you be comfortable if the Mormon church decided to build one of their temples in your neighborhood, or a church building there?

We had one built here a few years ago and while it is a beautiful building, and no one ever bothers us from there, people threw a royal fit about it and tried to do whatever they could to stop it from being built.

  • I wouldn't feel bothered at all. I think all types of churches, schools, etc is what makes a community.

  • Doesn't bother me as long as I'm not bothered by them. They're just as free to build their church/temple as anyone else!

  • I might be annoyed due to construction noise, or if attendees were parking in my drive or something, but aside from that it wouldn't bother me.

  • Not any more than it would if it were an AOG church, a Mosque, or any other house of prayer.

  • theres a reson why our fore fathers came to this county- for freedom of religion. I do not belive in the practices of the Mormon faith but it is not my place to take away their freedom. As long as they are not hurting anyone I dont see a problem with it.
