What would make your period come on earlier than expected if it has always come on every 28 days?

  • stress, aggressive exercise..maybe things aren't always going to be the same 28-day cycle. if you're worried, you need a full gyno checkup. any soreness or cramping out of the ordinary?

  • Anything. Stress mostly. Unless it seems like it's very early, very light, and very short... that would sound like implantation bleeding

  • stress could be it, or maybe your ovary didn't drop an egg this time around.

    My gyno told me certain things can make your period late or early. Like sometimes your egg drops a day late, or you'll drop two eggs which could result in a later period. Or if it doesn't drop at all, your uterus knows & goes ahead & sheds itself early. I use to freak out when my periods were too early or too late. But, she said not to, that it happens to everybody at some point.
