At what age do you start brushing baby's teeth ?

Cause my pedi told me i can put a damp cloth in my babys mouth to remove milk residue but when do i start brushing his teeth? my son is 3months old don't they have a special finger toothbrush for babies?

  • as soon as they have teeth you're supposed to clean them. Mine got his bottom teeth at 4 months. I used the finger tooth brush.

  • You should do it from the beginning. Yes the do have those speical tooth brushes but a damp cloth works just as good for their gums.

  • As soon as they have teeth and start eating solids. You an continue to use the wash cloth until they are on table foods if you want.

  • I started at 4months. They sell baby tooth brushes and toothpaste at target walmart king soopers etc. the toothbrush I use is the one where u put it on ur finger. Before she turned 4months I used a wet washcloth or gauze.
