When did your child get out of there terrible twos?

  • My dd skipped the terrible 2's and 3's. She saved it all up for when she turned 4!!!

    Yup- mine were both worse in their 3's

  • "Whoever called it the terrible twos never had a three year old." I love this quite because it was so true for my kids - the twos weren't bad, it was their threes that were trying!

  • My first child finally got out the "terrible" stage around 6-7. Not kidding. He was severely speech delayed and he calmed down a lot when his verbal ability caught up to his cognitive.

    My other 2 calmed down around 4, but my 6 yr old is going through a very snarky patch at the moment.
