Can tea be used as a substitue?

If it's decaf and has no sugar, can it be a substitute for water?
I can normally get down 60 oz of water a day but need something with flavor too.

  • No. Tea even decaf tends to dehydrate you. If you need a little flavor then add some lemon or lime or orange squeezed in there. Soak a couple cucumbers or kiwis in it.

  • It's not AS hydrating as water, but it's better than not drinking any water. Try to get yourself used to the flavor of water, or squeeze in a lemon wedge to help the taste.
