2 Bumps

3 year old with a swollen belly?

I have already put her to bed but she wakes up crying almost every 30 minutes she says she needs her diaper changed, i change it and she hasnt went 1 or 2, her belly is swollen and feels very hard, what should i do? and whats causing this?

  • that sounds SERIOUS. liver, intestines, etc. I'd be off the internet and into the nearest pediatric emergency room

  • Might be something as simple as gas, but I wouldn't take chances and I'd get her to the hospital ASAP

  • I third that. Call to your pediatrician and trip to the emergency room! I hope everything is fine, but best to be sure!

  • Could be constipation or gas... could also warrant medical attention... head over to the ER and have the little one check out! Shes in obvious discomfort and its consistent enough that it should be treated serious ♥ Best Wishes ♥

  • My advice is take her to ER right away. It could just be constipation or gas, or could be a bowel obstruction or something even more serious. Do not wait...get her in to see a doctor right away. Best wishes and I hope everything works out and its nothing serious
