Breast implants from temporary money........

temporary $$$ = a loan, a boyfriend or non permanent marriage, as a gift from parents, etc etc etc....

I am curious what happens to some women who aren't financially secure themselves but are lucky enough to get their boobies done at someone else's expense. What happens in 7, 10, 15 years when they need replacing?

My curiosity is because a friend of mine just got an ENORMOUS tax refund and is using it for boobs. However, if it weren't for WIC her children would have no milk on their cereal tomorrow morning. I am wondering if it becomes a health crisis later on for people

  • That's sad if only for the reason that most people who need assistance like WIC and the like have a lot of other debt. I'm willing to bet there are a lot of other things she could be spending that $ on. Hell I'd rather hear she took the kids to Disney with it; at least that would be to their benefit of some sort (memory making) and not totally selfish. But she's not my friend so guess it's not my problem; sorry ...

  • Does she plan on earning a living with those new assets? She just might be able to afford the upkeep in that case!

  • Wow... i cant believe that any woman, especially a mother, in their right mind would waste money they've received on something as shallow as getting something like that done rather then reinvest it in her family or her childs future... while she is getting support from her state... (not that there is anything wrong with it, there are MANY women who honestly need it and wouldn't be doing as well without that little assistance) I would be very upset if i had spent this $$$ on myself and then a medical emergency or a need for my child came up and didn't have the ability to rightfully take care of my child... a little nest egg is always more important... ♥

  • in 6 months if someone on public assistance has a leaky saline implant would that surgery be covered? I am guessing YES, since it could be life threatening.

NO breast implants are forever. All varieties, all types need replacing at some point. I am curious if she'll end up in 10 yrs with one implant still good big and perky and one removed and all saggy skin weirdness
