can a baby be hurt by shaking your belly alot during an ultrasound to get him to move?

does that affect their brain? or anything?

  • Nope, my doctor did that with one of my u/s and I asked him. My mom works in Labor & delivery and she is shaking my belly to get her to move!! LOL

  • No- the techs and docs arent stupid. They wouldnt do it if it could hurt the baby.

  • Yes, my doctor will push on my stomach really hard to feel her, and he'll shake her to get her moving. the fluid keeps them pretty stable.

  • nope.. my doc use to use a buzzer to wake him up when i was preg. then he'd start to kick and i was like ahh!!
