Picky eater!

Up until about a month ago my 14 month old son had been eating soooo good! Recently he started to refuse eating baby food and just about all spoon feeding things. He won't eat his oatmeal in the morning any more. He is okay with just a banana and a few pieces of bread. He likes to feed himself. Even some of the graduate snacks he won't eat any more. I don't know what to do because I can't force him to eat. Can I get some suggestions please??

  • He's not a baby, baby food is gross, feed him what you're eating.

  • I agree, he should have plenty of teeth by now. Give him more table food, thicker consistancy. Finger foods like steamed carrot cubes, potatoes, pasta, peas, green beans, hot dog slices, sliced peaches, yogurt, small chicken cubes, try soups, add fruit to his oatmeal.....the more variety the better. He'll find a whole new variety of stuff he likes soon.

  • Feed him what you eat. We started feeding our daughter modified what we eat at 8.5 months old.
