Canadian Mamas!

I know we have some Canadian ladies in here so Im going to ask a few questions.
1.) Have any of you moved to Canada from the U.S.? If so, how much money did it cost to move and was the cost of living there a shock to you?
2.) What is the average home price, renting and buying, where you live? Are there laws regarding WHO can own property in Canada?
3.) Health care, good or bad?

Hmmm... is there anything you would like to share about living in Canada that you think might benefit someone interested in moving from the U.S.?

  • I moved to Canada from England.  It cost about $20,000 and your first obstacle will be immigration.  Do you know what class to immigrate under?

    House prices vary, google MLS.ca.

I have no issues with the health care.  It isn't a perfect system but it has never let me down.
