Another mama's post got me wondering.......

Can your baby kick you hard enough to actually do some damage????

I'm 31 weeks with a little boy and sometimes he kicks me so hard it makes me double over and takes my breath away!

Is it actually possible for him to kick me hard enough to HURT me????? lol

  • Him being in the uterus should* protect you from any actual damage.

  • They can kick hard enough to double you over, but I doubt they can do any real harm.

  • My son loved my rib cage and sometimes it felt like he was breaking them. But our bodies are made to carry babies so I highly doubt any permanent damage could happen

  • My sister had a bruised ligament in her hip area from her little one kicking her repeatedly. So, yes, it can happen.
