How do you know if a toddler is just cutting teeth or getting a cold?

  • feel baby's gums, if you feel that it is swollen or a little something ''sharp'' baby is teething. If baby is constantly chewing on stuff, than that's a sign of teething as well. Keep an eye on his/her temperature.

  • cutting teeth they usually have a fever and you can see the teeth pushing through the gums
