Whats one thing you found out about yourself after becoming a parent.

Before I became a mom. I had zero patience, couldn't be disturbed while I was sleeping, and had to always have quiet and I was quite selfish. Now I love noise and somehow I have so much patience with my daughter . I surprised myself and my whole family at the transformations I have made for my daughter.

  • Yeah, I'm not real big on babies. I can do my toddler just fine, but going back and starting again with another infant? Not my forte. Glad we're done!

  • That I am a perfectly capable person able to handle unexpected emergencies and not freak out. Before I had kids-- I adopted 3, I didn't think I was capable of handling all the situations that come up with kids. I found out I am perfectly capable.

  • That I am really good at being a homemaker & "soccer" mom type which you know who knew? I never had to do chores or babysit growing up and really looking back becoming a mom should have scared the living crap out of me lol. Thank God I was a teenager. Otherwise I might not have ever had kids. I was young enough not to think about it much.
