  • Yes. Epsom salts are magnesium sulfate. Magnesium causes muscles to relax; calcium causes them to contract.

  • Yes, it does. It's a wonderful (and inexpensive) way to relax at the end of the day.

    And, if you suffer with migraines, it can help to keep them at bay if you soak in an epsom salt bath regularly.
