What would you do? (21 y/o young man, 20 y/o girlfriend)

If your 21 year old son moved back on the farm after college until he can get his own place and he has a 20 year old girlfriend who visits and helps out often, would you let them sleep in the same bed even though you know they are going to have sex? I'm posting this for my cousin btw. I know they have been dating for several years and getting engaged in the near future. His mom previously let them sleep in the same bed until she found something that made her know they were sexually active. I just told him that its his parents house so it is their rules. What would you do if you were the parents?

  • 20 & 21 is old enough to do as they please. It's their parent home so it should be the parents rules. I would let them. But thats me.

  • I don't think I would let them share a room. I wouldnt care if they hung out in eachothers room but I think they should have seperate sleeping quarters. If they want to sleep together then they will work harder for their own place.

  • It wouldn't bother me but how do you know they will have sex, not every couple who sleeps in the same bed has sex everynight. He is 21 and grown I see nothing wrong with it.

  • Our house rules - no sharing the bed without marriage.

  • I would let them sleep together,, but they need to respect the parents if they are in their house,, I would be finding a new place to live pretty quick!

  • i would allow her to sleep over but i would rather her sleep in a seperate room. nothing to do with them "not being married" its just the thought of my child having sex would drive me nuts.
