Maybe a silly question, but...

What kind of water is it best to water flowers with? Warm? Cold? Does it matter?

  • Some indoor plants you don't want to shock them with ice cold water, but in general, I haven't found that it matters very much. I *do*, however, have some plants that I cannot water with 'regular' water from the tap, because I have city water and I hate seeing the burnt tips on the plants when I water with anything but distilled or well water. lol

  • Outside doesn't matter really - but you don't want to water at hot noon, and especially not when it's super hot with cold water- that's how plants can get burned. Inside, you want room temp.
